General Announcements:
Use the .EMREASSESS dot phrase for patients in the ED >8 hours. Documentation outside the window of hour 6-10 will not count toward compliance. Set Up Dot Phrase: Go to ED Course, Click wrench icon in the top right corner. Type “EM Reassessment” in the search bar. Select “NYC ED EM REASSESSMENT”
Recruitment Zoom Sign Up: Sign up for days you can be on the zoom to chat with candidates during their breaks, Put your name in Column L and specify what times you are free if its not the entire time: Link Here
Recruitment Social Media: We are looking for residents to post videos such as Get Ready With Me, Housing Tours, or any ideas you have. Reach out to Vinay and Rhea or Chiefs!
Faculty Evaluations: Link Here - Residents will be responsible for 2 evaluations each month. Once you do an eval in Medhub, fill out this google form with the attending you have evaluated.
Critical Care Fellowship: Meet and Greet

Last week Kurt Moskovitz laid hands on a headstrike and found chest crepitus which made us upgrade to DART and the guy had a PTX with a bunch of subq emphysema
Shout out to the whole PGY2 class. It’s a thankless job a lot of the times but they take it on the chin, show up, eat the board and do it all again the next day. I’m always happy when I have one of them with me
Sara Youssef is cooking! She’s seeing a ton of patients and excited to see more. Doing a great job on nights!
Emma Bergman has been eating the board, showing up at notifications, nailing tricky intubations and A-lines. Everyone loves working with her!
